Sage was born and raised at Fernhill Brittanys with her mom and grandma. She is stylish, smart, and spunky.

After a quick jaunt in the field, Anne and I talked about exploring her ability in the field. While Anne does a fabulous job getting the dogs out and on birds, we decided to send her to Burchett Bird Dogs. Sage came home with Derby placements and Puppy placements! While home, she went out with Anne to easily earned Junior Hunter legs.

We entered Sage at the 2023 National in which she was awarded Best in Puppy Match by longtime breeder, Doug Tighe of Hope Brittanys. A year later, at the 2024 American Brittany Club National Specialty, she won Reserve Winners Bitch to her littersister, Iggy. In May 2025, Sage won back to back 5 point specialty majors along with being awarded Best of Opposite Sex over specials.

Sage also made a friend when she was shown in Junior Showmanship by Grant at the 2024 National. Talk about being spoiled all weekend! Sage can't wait to see him again.

Since the 2024 National, Sage finished her JH easily and placed 3rd in the Central Futurity Gun Dog. We are very pleased with all that Sage has done!
